A Homecoming in South Miami
Stepping back onto the University of Miami campus after more than three decades brings a wave of nostalgia. Growing up right next to UM in South Miami shaped so many early memories. While the area has transformed significantly over the last thirty years, the underlying spirit of the neighborhood remains unchanged—it still feels like home.

Beyond the nostalgia of returning to familiar streets, there is a distinct energy surrounding the community right now. Seeing the campus again serves as a powerful reminder of the deep tradition and passion rooted here.
With Coach Cristobal leading the football program, the excitement is palpable. It is time to win the national championship and bring it back home where it belongs. Go Canes!
